Alfa Transformers Sparks ₹7.14 Crore Win with MGVCL Contract

Alfa Transformers has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Madhya Gujarat Vij Company (MGVCL) for the supply of 11kV distribution transformers across various capacity ratings.

The contract, valued at Rs 7.14 crore including GST, requires the company to manufacture and supply the transformers in accordance with the utility’s technical specifications and quality standards. Deliveries will commence after a 45-day start-up period from the date of acceptance and will be completed over seven months through equal monthly supply schedules.

The order reinforces Alfa Transformers’ position in the power equipment sector and highlights ongoing investments in strengthening electricity distribution infrastructure. The project is expected to support the reliability and efficiency of power distribution networks in Gujarat while contributing to the modernisation efforts of state-owned utilities.
